Over the weekend I got to try out a small spot in Downtown Mount Dora that I have been DYING to try, and this place is The Salted Fry. This restaurant has been around for a couple years now and I’ve heard many good things about it from other local people but they do have weird hours so it’s hard to catch them when they are open. Finally though, I was able to catch them on a good day while I was out shopping with my mom. The catch of the restaurant is that they specialize in different kinds of fries, and let me just say, they did not disappoint. What I have pictured here is their chicken club sandwich with a side of their truffle fries that is served with a side of mayonnaise and some ketchup! the truffle fries were absolutely mind blowing! Some of the best truffle fries i have tried! The sandwich was really good and refreshing. The only downside I could find of this restaurant is the prices, it is quite expensive, but i do believe if you come in really hungry then you get your moneys worth!
